Summary Must be used in combination with a diamond tester, i.e. if a simple (thermal conductivity) diamond tester says the stone might be diamond or Moissanite (you won't know which), test it on this to see if it's Moissanite. Accuracy / Guarantee A 'Moissanite' reading on this tester indicates that there's a high probability that the stone is Moissanite. It is not guaranteed, the latest Moissanites will show up as diamond on this tester. Also, the slightest layer of grease on the stone (e.g. by touching it with your finger) will give incorrect results. The 1-year guarantee covers breakdown, it does not guarantee accuracy.
